Popular 90s cosmetics are being revived in 2021

Don't you feel a little bit melancholy after seeing so many vintage fashion and beauty trends this season on your social media feed? The Gen Z generation has taken it upon themselves to revive 1990s trends and give them a modern twist. If you are a millennial, you are all too familiar with these fashion trends, which range from grungy makeup to low rise jeans to tank tops and meticulously braided hairstyles

But we didn't anticipate it would happen so soon, history does repeat itself, and we millennials are embracing how we now appear to be fashion experts who anticipated trends decades in advance. Having said that, there are some legendary beauty products that we were completely enamoured with growing up, and since we are seeing a full-on resurrection of '90s trends this season, fashion and beauty connoisseurs may want to think about some more ecstatic things.

Aromatic Lip Balms

A girl in the 1990s preferred flavoured lip balms to cocoa brown lipstick, of course. We cherished the delicious flavours of our lip smackers, and we would welcome a return of the same flavours in possibly expanded varieties and new formulations. It was also popular to wear noticeable lip liners, which went well with the overall grunge look.

Temporary body art

We could always pick to flaunt a different tattoo every now and then without having to commit to a permanent one thanks to temporary tattoos, another golden beauty craze that appeared in the decade. We adore how this product has developed over time. Today, there are a few domestic temporary tattoo businesses and professional tattoo artists who offer temp tattoos as well.

Foam curling irons

Do you still have those foam curling irons? Given that most of our parents wouldn't let us visit a salon for heat styling, these were quite fantastic for getting no-heat curls. At sleepovers, foam hair curlers were a safe bet because they were so simple to use and produced wonderful results. There are modern foam curlers available that have larger cylinder forms to produce larger waves. Currently popular hair accessories include scrunchies and barrettes, and we can't even begin to describe how much we like these throwback fashion trends.
