The best method for hiding dark circles is to use an inner-eye accent.

The outer corners of the eyes are primarily what we are interested in highlighting when it comes to eye makeup. There are many different cosmetic options for the outer corner of the eyes, such as elongated flicks and winged eyeliner. Inner corners, on the other hand, are frequently overlooked and are patiently waiting for attention.

We are thrilled that they lately attracted some attention after being worn by various celebrities.

Why You Should Wear An Inner-Eye Accent

An eyeshadow or pencil applied to the inner corner of the eyes creates an inner-eye accent. To essentially manipulate the light and shadow in that area, it is applied in an inverted orientation. One could question why we are so enamoured with the fad. It's one of the simplest, quickest, and most fashionable methods to experiment with eye makeup. Second, if you look attentively, you'll see that our noses obscure the light coming from the inner corners, emphasising the dark rings. Thus, specialists also think that an accent on the inner eye can brighten the area and detract from dark circles.

Methods For Rocking The Trend

There are several different ways to wear it. Instead of highlighting it with the typical gold and copper shimmering shadows, choose bright hues that match perfectly with the makeup.

Take inspiration from Zendaya, who recently sported the look at the Dune movie premiere. Her pale and dark purple clothing suited her dark smokey eye makeup. The lighter lilac lightened up the overall look while the darker shade provided further definition.

Use the shade that the area already has from dark rings to your advantage. To define it, use a dark eyeshadow on the inner corners. For a more polished finish, add a dash of glitter or finish with a metallic colour. Applying dark colours like black or brown makes it appear appealing and like an extension of the smoky eye effect.

You can also go to Sonam Kapoor and Disha Patani for inspiration if you want to use coloured makeup to add an accent. We are about to test things out, so BRB!
